CALCULATING SHIPPING COST

Shipping charges quoted will be based on UPS rate tables and a minimal handling fee of $2.00 per package. Actual charges will be adjusted due to package size, weight, shipping method and destination. This modified amount along with your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order has shipped.

Extra large/heavy boxes will be charged an additional fee without prior notification after your order confirmation. This modified amount will be shown in the 2nd email to you with your tracking number.

Shipping costs for Next Day Air®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, UPS 3 Day Select®, Extra large, heavy, multiple boxed orders are quoted using your zip code, the weight and size of the packages using UPS rate tables. A $2.00 handling fee will apply to all orders in addition to actual UPS charges. Please Note:

Due to the diversity of product sizes, weights and quantities ordered, we are currently not able to quote an accurate real-time shipping charge for all orders. Therefore we must quote them as close as we can and adjust the charges to reflect actual UPS rates, based on the UPS Rate Table that are charged us by these carriers when orders are packaged, weighted and processed using the destination zip code and the shipping method the customer selected at time of order placement. We are sorry for the inconvenience this situation poses to customers but it is the only way to assure timely processing of all orders.

The best way to get an estimated shipping cost for your order is to add your item(s) to your shopping cart, enter your shipping information and proceed to the billing screen. It will calculate your estimated shipping cost before you finalize your order. Actual shipping and handling charges may be adjusted using the most cost effective method available at time of processing.

The Preparedness Center is not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier, exclude weekends and holidays, and times may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.

TIME IN TRANSIT DISCLAIMER

We will not be held responsible for shipment delays and are unable to issue refunds for shipping charges because of delayed shipments due to peak seasonal demand, acts of God, acts or failures of Buyer, acts of civil, military authority, earthquakes, hurricanes, Snowstorms, fires, strikes, floods, epidemics, attacks, war, delays in transportation, acts and conditions beyond the control of our freight carriers. other causes beyond Seller's reasonable control, including, without limitation, delays in obtaining or inability to obtain labor, products, necessary credit card authorization, address verification and/or necessary information from buyer to process order. Our responsible lies in the fulfillment of orders within our facility and readying the packages for UPS pickup from our facility. Our guarantee to you is that your package will leave our facility within the time specified in our shipping schedule. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.




In Transit Shipping Time

UPS Ground Service shipping times from our west coast facility to the east coast is approximately 5 to 12 business days. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

UPS 2nd Day Air Orders received prior to 1 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) Monday through Friday, will leave on the same business day ordered. PLEASE NOTE: Weekends & Holidays are not counted in shipping time. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

UPS 3 Day Select Orders received prior to 1 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) Monday through Friday, will leave on the same business day ordered. PLEASE NOTE: Weekends & Holidays are not counted in shipping time. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

Ground Service Orders are typically processed and shipped from our warehouse within 2-3 business days upon receipt of your order. This time may increase due to high demand, product availability and incoming freight delays due to weather conditions and other acts beyond our control. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

Please be sure you enter your correct email address on the order form. You will be emailed the tracking number(s) for your order.

Mistakes happen. We strive to have all orders processed fully and correctly. On occasion a problem can occur. It is important that you immediately notify us of any problems with your order. Please do so within 3 days. Remember, sometimes an order is sent in several boxes, you should have received an email with the tracking number for each box. Track each package to ensure one isn't delayed in transit or left at a neighbors. When notifying us of a problem, please provide your order number, a list of the quantity and items you received, a list of the quantity and items shown on the packing list, and a description of the problem.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS


International orders are subject to a $300.00 minimum (before shipping & handling)

All payments must be in US funds. Personal checks will not be accepted. Canadian customers are required to pay any applicable duties, import taxes and customs charges. Orders will be shipped by UPS from our warehouse located in California.

International Orders: We ship to most non-embargoed countries of the world. Customers are advised to be certain of your import regulations and restrictions when ordering our products. Due to the nature of some of our products, we cannot export every item on our web site. See the applicable restrictions.


Customs Duties, Import Licenses, Taxes:


You are responsible for Import Licenses, Customs assessed import duties, all local taxes, and in-country delivery fees (if any). We assume no responsibility for these additional charges. Packages seized by Customs for failure to follow local import regulations are ineligible for credit or refund.

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL LEGALLY RESTRICTED ARTICLES


We CANNOT SHIP or export under any circumstances Hazardous Materials and / or legally restricted articles. Orders for these items are refused or canceled if received. A credit for cash payments will be issued as needed. You are fully responsible for complying with all of your local import regulations. We are required to observe and follow all U.S. Export Regulations and Laws.

Payment for International Orders


All payments must be in US funds. Personal checks will not be accepted. PAYMENT IN FULL is required for all orders. US dollars only by international money order, bank check payable in the USA or wire transfer. Foreign checks are not accepted, unless they are bank checks payable at a bank in the USA.
